Conventionally, glamour should always win, but Brad Pitt has been looking like Scott Peterson (of California, look it up) a lot recently. And poor Angelina is looking a little Mar's Attacks here. Remember their W photo shoot? Those were the days.
On to modern: a suit jacket should always be buttoned while standing (and if it wasn't made to be buttoned then it shouldn't have been made). See, a suit jacket is constructed to tailor to your body, which is only effective when buttoned. Now, Samual looks very styled here, so I'm guessing a stylish told him not to button it--but then again, this would be the same stylist who let him walk out there without showing any cuffs.
So the winner? Probably glamour, because tie always goes to glamour.
