    I really can't do it. I thought I would be closer on the second one but I can't even force a guess.

    But am I getting warmer if I guess Italy for the first? Antonioni or Fellini?

    three hints about the second one:
    -it was released in 1969
    -one of the film's stars is related to someone that has been in several david lynch films
    -it's adaptation of a novel

    Ok, I love They Shoot Horses Don't They, and I just don't think this screams that movie. It's too glamorous. I would have guessed Strictly Ballroom before that.
